How does a commercial photoshoot work?
Commercial photoshoots are designed to show off a business' products or service and the use of photography has a different objective to that of a personal portrait photoshoot. Once a booking is made, I like to drill into exactly what you and your business needs the photos to portray. This includes the venue (your yard, shop or on location), the products being photographed and any props needed to add style and a story that suits your business.
These are some helpful pointers:
1. Shoot Cost - the photoshoot will last approximately two hours with includes travel within a 30 mile radius of GU32, thereafter it's 45p per mile. I ask that 50% of the initial cost is paid in advance as a non-refundable deposit. This can be done via bank transfer, cheque or PayPal. There are three price options:
2. Images - I'll take around 150 photos, which will be whittled down to a selection of the best which will be fully edited. These will be uploaded to my website and password protected for you to view at your leisure. I will supply you with a small selection of low resolution images with my watermark for you to share on your social media channels. I ask that you DO NOT remove the watermark from these. I will use similar images for my business pages to describe our time together. I aim to get an initial review within three to four days.
3. Date/Time/Weather changes - As ever with the English weather, it can be difficult to guarantee it won't be raining. Ahead of the day, I will get in touch to confirm exact timing and venue. If you think you need to change these, do not leave it to the last minute as I often have more than one shoot on the same date. If the weather looks as though it's going to work against us, we can reschedule.
